Jake and Kristen were married in one of the most joy-filled ceremonies I have ever witnessed. Cheers to you two – cheers to a love perfectly crafted by our Heavenly Father.

 

Beautiful Boho Wedding Details

There are SO many small details about this day that I just can’t handle. Kristen held a book that carried love letters from each month of their dating relationship and they wrote the last letter to each other minutes before becoming man and wife.

Elisha from Petals Floral Co  is a floral goddess. These whimsical masterpieces were the perfect compliment to J & K’s downtown Lynchburg wedding. (Don’t miss the incredible floral arbor they used for their ceremony below!) It added the perfect romantic touch in the industrial venue!

 

Getting Ready

Kristen wore THE most amazing dress filled with lacy intricate details and looked like a vision. Oh, you know what I’m talking about, the kind of vision that you don’t want to look away from. In years to come, I just know that their grandchildren will look back on these pictures and be in AWE.

 

First Look

Jake and Kristen are special people to me and I’m a mama bear so I strongly urged them to do a first look. From my own wedding, I knew that this part of the day is where everything slows down. For them, it was no different. They soaked  in each other’s presence and enjoyed this getaway from the hectic tendencies of weddings days and now when they look back, they LOVE their first look pictures.

 

These people are practically models. Serious bridal party goals. Can I get a witness!?

Tears, Worship, and Love

Their ceremony was filled with music. Jake played the guitar and they sang a hymn with everyone in attendance. The song lifted up to the high ceiling and I could just tell the Heavenly Father was leaning in especially close to witness the beautiful ceremony unfolding because this love has been perfectly crafted. 

 

Rockin’ Reception

For their first dance, you can just tell that the adoring bridesmaids are seeing Kris + Jake’s love story unfold. And last but not least, they had a rock concert to finish the night off. WHAT. Did we mention the groom had a guest performance and just so happened to crowd surf?
